Chef Jim Lockwood

Chef Jim began cooking in the kitchen of his Tuscan grandmother and in 1988 took his first restaurant job as chef de partie at Baker House, a popular east Chicago eatery.

After finishing culinary school, Chef Jim earned the honor of working as sous-chef under James Beard Award winner, Chef Julienne Robart at Milan in Monterey, California. Since opening Jim's Place in 2008, Chef Jim has earn his own James Beard nomination.
